CAIRO - 2 February 2020: On Feb.3, the Cinema Palace headed by Tamer Abdel Moneim will host the honoring of veteran star Lotfy Labib, within the "Star and Symposium" program, where the short movie "Funeral of Umm Hassan", directed by Yasser Zaid, will be screened.

The seminar will be run by the Amir Abaza.

Labib’s latest work is the series “Shebr Maya” which revolves around 3 men, each having a different personality and a story that unravels throughout the episodes. The series is starring Ahmed el-Saadany, one of the men portrayed in the series, who refuses to get married. Mohamed Ali Rezk embodies the role of a man who loses his wife, deciding to dedicate his life to his only daughter. Morad Makram embodies the role of the third man, who was not able to bear the responsibility of his house and family, deciding to marry a different woman.

“Shebr Maya” belongs to the category of series' consisting of 45 episodes. It is starring Ahmed el-Saadany, Naglaa Badr, Mourad Makram, Nada Moussa, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Noha Abdin, Tharaa Jbeil, Ragaa al-Geddawi, Inaam Salousa, and others. The series is written by Sherif Badr el-Din, directed by Tarek Refaat and is produced by Synergy.

Recently, Labib and Geddawi was honored during the closing ceremony of the 6th edition of Afaq Theater Festival.
