CAIRO - 28 January 2020: DMC channel announced releasing the second part of the documentary film “Qutb” on Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. The film details the last 15 months of Sayyid Qutb’s life.

The second part includes several surprises, including Qutb's meeting with a prominent figure in the Egyptian literature and cinema, prior to the revelation of the illegal organization he is affiliated with and his arrest.

The documentary is based on Organization 65's documents. The documentary unveils the opinion of Hassan al-Hudaibi, the second guide of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood Organization, on Qutb, Zainab al-Ghazali and the ideology of Organization 65.

The film is produced by the Documentary Unit, managed by journalist and writer Ahmed el-Deriny. Director Sherif Saeed is the CEO of the unit.

Official spokesman of the Documentary Unit Hossam Salih indicated that the company has allocated all the available capital to serve this production, which combats the extremist ideas of armed groups. The time and dates the documentary will be broadcast on other television networks will be announced soon.
