CAIRO - 21 November 2019: A play entitled "Fengan Qahwa” (A Cup of Coffee) directed by Khaled Galal is currently being prepared by the Theater Art House.

The play brings back veteran theatrical actress Samiha Ayoub to the theatrical scene after years of hiatus. The play comes as a manifestation of joint Arab cooperation, where the writer of the play is Iraqi and the director is Egyptian. Veteran actor Abdul Raham Abou Zahra will co-star alongside Ayoub.

It is noteworthy that Ayoub was discovered by the playwright Zaki Tulaimat. Throughout her theatrical career, she participated in 170 plays, including “Rabaa el-Adaweya”, “Seket Salama”, “Demaa’ Ala Astar el-Kaaba”, among others.

Additionally, Ayoub had numerous contributions to cinema and television production. Her distinguished film contributions include “Ard el-Nefaq”, “Fagr el-Islam”, and “Bein al-Atlal,” while her notable television works include “El Doo’ el-Shared”, “Awan el-Ward”, and “El-Masrawiya.”

Ayoub received many awards from several presidents, including late presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser and Anwar Sadat, as well as Syrian late President Hafez al-Assad and late French President Giscard d'Estaing.
