CAIRO - 20 November 2019: Minister of Antiquities Khaled el-Anani convened in his office at the headquarters of the Ministry of Antiquities in Zamalek on the evening of Nov. 19 with the ambassador of Angola to Egypt.

During the meeting, Anani and the Angolan ambassador discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of archaeological work in general and in the field of museums and training archaeologists and restorers in particular.

The ambassador pointed out that Angola will greatly benefit from the Egyptian expertise in this field.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting also discussed ways of cooperation in combating illegal trafficking of antiquities.
