National Theater to present variety of theatrical shows in Nov., Dec.

CAIRO - 18 November 2019: During the coming period, the National Theater will present a number of new theatrical performances and re-presented plays.

The production plan includes Al-Ghad Theatre Group's “Thel al-Hekayat” (Shadow of Tales) that will be presented as of Thursday, November 21. Also, Al-Mowagaha Theater Group will present the play “Rehla Saeeda” (Happy Trip) on Beram el-Tonsy Theater in Alexandria on Nov. 24.

Furthermore, the Comedy Theater group will perform “Rasael el-Oshak” (Lover’s Letters) at the Miami Theater starting Thursday, Nov. 28t, and on the same day Al-Talea Theater Group will present the new play “Harim el-Nar” (Ladies of Hell).

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will honor the daughter of Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz on the day of launching the play "Afrah el-Qubba" produced by the Youth Theater and set to stage on the Small Floating Theater during the first week of December 2019.

Produced by the Youth Theatre, Molière's "The Miser" will be stage at the King Theater in mid-December.

The National Theater also presents "The Optimist", which has achieved wide success in Cairo, and will move to its audience in Alexandria to stage at Beram el-Tonsy Theater starting Dec.10.

Last but not least, Al-Salam Theater will host the play “40 Rules of Love” on Dec. 5.
