CAIRO – 27 July 2019: The Egyptian movie El Feel-el Azra’a(The Blue Elephant) Part 2 achieved a booming success, generating revenues amounted to 8,620,000 in two days only.
The long-awaited film promo has recorded more than nine million views, and was met with an enthusiastic interaction from the anticipating audience.

Famed Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz appears in the promo fighting with the beloved star Nelly Karim, stirring a lot of curiosity about the events of the new movie.


Part 2 stars the same cast of the first movie, led by director Marwan Hamed and author Ahmed Mourad. Tunisian actress Hend Sabry and Asma Sherif Mounir also join the cast, along with Zafer El Abdeen and Eyad Nassar as guests of honour.


Produced by Synergy, these quell follows a huge success of the first part, which grossed more than LE35 million when released in 2014, a record number in the last decade in Egyptian cinema.

The first movie tells the story of Yehia, a psychotherapist who returns after five years of self imposed isolation to Al Abbasiya mental hospital, where he meets an old friend with a dark past and uncovers many surprises that turn his life upside down.

The events develop in a drama, horror, mystery context. Part 2 takes place five years later, as Dr.Yehia has married Lobna, played by Karim, and is summoned to the Department of Dangerous Cases.

The films are adapted from Ahmed Mourad's best-selling book of the same name that was released in 2012. The latter was shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF) in 2014.
