On the sixth anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, Egyptianscelebrated on social media the removal of a one-year-old ruling of the outlawed organization of the Muslims Brotherhood.

Egyptians on Twitter have posted several photos and videos showing their celebrations of the removal of late and ousted President Mohamed Morsi’s regime by the military on July 3, 2013, followingmillion-man demonstrations nationwide on June 30, using hashtags of #تحيا_مصر #30يونيو.

The date June 30, 2013 was engraved into Egypt’s history as the day when Egypt freed itself from the shackles of the outlawed terrorist organization that sought to destabilize the country while pushing it to the brinks of failure.

The days between June 26 to July 3, 2013, Egypt's modern history was drastically reshaped; the 87-year-old group of the Muslim Brotherhood shot itself in the foot during their one-year rule and wiped themselves off the political landscape of Egypt.
