CAIRO – 26 May 2019: The much anticipated action movie "Casablanca" will be released on the first day of Eid El-Fitr in Egypt and a number of Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

The much anticipated action movie revolves around Omar el-Mor (Amir Karara) who is forced to go on an adventure in Casablanca.

"Casablanca" was shot across different cities such as Marrakech, Casablanca, Safaga and Alexandria.

The plot tackles the life of some Alexandrian men that despite being pirates have a touch of humanity.

Mor wants to free his kidnapped brother, and together they form a totally different and new composition. The movie also has a light comedy line.

"Casablanca" promo amassed 1 million views 3 hours after its release which is a record in Egyptian cinema.

The film is starring Amir Karara, Ghada Adel, Eyad Nassar, Amro Adel Jalil, Lebleba, Mahmoud al-Bezzawy, Ahmad Dash, Jihane Khalil, Mohamed Miftah, International Turkish actor Halit Ergenç, among others.

"Casablanca" is written by Hesham Helal, directed by Peter Mimi and produced by Synergy.
