'Aash Ahl Baladi' to stage on National Theater in April

CAIRO - 15 April 2019: The final rehearsals of the play “Aash Ahl Baladi” (Long live my people) arecurrently being held. The play is the production of the National Theater Group affiliated with the Theater Art House.

The play is set to stage on the National Theater in Attaba during the current month.

Director of the National Theater Group Ahmed Shaker Abdul Latif stated that the play revolves around the idea of the primitive societies where people dream of a powerful man that can convert their simple dreams into reality, while in high-end societies the leader counts on his people to achieve the greatest dreams possible.

The play is considered to be an intense artistic performance aiming to build a modern society.

The play is starring Ahmed Salama, Intesar, Mohamed Radwan, Hala Sorour, Zakaria Maarouf, Diaa Zakaria, Mariam el-Bahrawy, Hany Hafez, and Ihab Nasser. “Aash Ahl Baladi” is directed by Assem Nagaty and written by Mohamed Baghdady.
