CAIRO - 12 April 2019: Famed rapper French Montana will perform for the first time in Egypt on April 12 in 6 th of October city.

Montana is a Moroccan-American rapper, singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Morocco as Karim Kharbouch in November 9, 1984). His family immigrated to the United States when he was 13 years old.

In 2007 Montana started his professional career as a rapper. In 2010, he released his famous sucessful somg "Choppa Choppa Down" which brought his fame.

Montana released his first album entitled ‘’Excuse My French’’ on May 21, 2013. In July 2017, Montana released his second album, ‘’Jungle Rules’’ which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200.

The album was supported by the single "Unforgettable", featuring Swae Lee, which became Montana's first song as lead artist to reach the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He has also collaborated with a multitude of artists, such as Drake, Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, Young Thug, T.I., Chris Brown, among others.

Montana is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group.
