CAIRO - 11 March 2019: After eleven years of their last cooperation, mega stars Ahmed Helmy and Menna Shalaby reunite in “Khayal Ma’ata” (Shadow of the dead) scheduled to be released in Eid al-Fitr.

The first scenes of the social comedy starring Khalid al-Sawy, Bayoumi Fouad and Lotfi Labib will be filmed next week.

In 2007, Helmi and Shalaby cooperated in the successful film “Keda Reda”, which starred Khaled el-Sawy and was directed by Nader Galal.

The stars also cooperated in 2008 in “Asif Ala el-Eza’ag” (Sorry for the inconvenience) with Dalal Abdel Aziz and Mahmoud Hemeida.

“Khayal Ma’ata” (Shadow of the dead) is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal and directed by Khaled Marei.

It is worth mentioning that Helmy's latest film, "Laf we Dawaran" (Turning in circles), which starred Donia Samir Ghanem, Jamila Awad, Sabreen and Inaam Salousa, achieved great success at the time of its release. “Laf we Dawaran” is directed by Khaled Marei.
