CAIRO – 14 January 2019: A number of cultural and artistic events will be held in various cultural institutions and centers on January 14, 2019.

The Ministry of Antiquities celebrates the 13th archaeologists' anniversary, in the presence of Minister of Antiquities Khaled al-Anani, and a number of other ministers, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Museum of Archaeology will organize a lecture entitled "The Art of Mosaics and Readings in the Ancient Life" at 1 p.m. at the Conference Center (C).

Furthermore, in celebration of Egypt's presidency of the African Union 2019, the Egyptian Public Library in Dokki will organize a seminar entitled "Egypt and the Battle of African Freedom" at 5 p.m. The seminar will be presented by President of the National Council for Human Rights Mohamed Fayek, in the presence of Head of the Egyptian Public Library, Ambassador Abdel Raouf el-Ridi.

The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Magdy Saber, in collaboration with the Cultural Development Fund headed by Fathi Abdel Wahab, and in light of its ongoing cultural and intellectual activities, will hold an evening in the praise of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Jesus Christ.

In addition, L'atelier D'Alexandrie will host a series of cultural meetings under the title "Modern Narratives" at 6 p.m., with the participation of critic Ahmed Ibrahim and Nada Yousri.

A cultural and poetic evening will be held at the Freedom Center for Innovation in Alexandria at 7 p.m.

Last but not least, the General Authority for Culture Palaces organizes a medical convoy to raise awareness on breast cancer in the village of Nawaj, a village located in Gharbia Governorate, in cooperation with the Egyptian Foundation to combat breast cancer.
