Numerous cultural, artistic events to be held Jan. 6

CAIRO – 6 January 2019: Several artistic and cultural events are set to take place on Jan. 6 in a number of cultural centers and institutions.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem held a press conference for the 11th edition of The Arab Theater Festival from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Supreme Council of Culture at Cairo Opera House.

In addition, the minister of culture checked the latest developments in Bab al-Khalq Publishing House's building to announce the date of its official opening.

الأحد، 06 يناير 2019 01:15 م وزيرة الثقافة فى مؤتمر مهرجان المسرح العربى جمال عبد الناصر - تصوير السعودى محمود تحت رعاية الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسى، أعلنت الدكتورة إيناس عبد الدايم، وزيرة الثقافة، تفاصيل الدورة الحادية عشرة من مهرجان المسرح العربى فى مؤتمر صحفى بالمجلس الأعلى للثقافة، مؤكدة أن استضافة مصر لهذا الحدث خير دليل على أمنها واستقرارها، وأن القاهرة خلال مدة انطلاق المهرجان ستكون "منورة" بالمسرحيين العرب.




Furthermore, The Egyptian Poetry Forum will discuss "No dignity for a rectangle" of Yemeni poet Hani el-Solawi at the headquarters of the National Progressive Unionist Party in downtown Cairo at 7 p.m.

The house of Arabic Poetry, a poetical evening focusing on poets of Suez Governorate and funded by the Cultural Development Fund Sector, will be held at 6 p.m. in El-Set Wasila House located behind Al-Azhar mosque. This initiative comes within the framework of the ministry's efforts to shed light on the creativity of poets in Egypt’s different provinces.

Last but not least, The Capital Art Gallery will launch Yascine Harraz’s art exhibition in Zamalek at 7 p.m. The art exhibition will run until Jan. 20, 2019.
