CAIRO – 4 September 2018: Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem attended the graduation ceremony of the first batch of graduates of “Ebda’ Helmak” (Start Your Dream) theatrical workshop.

The ceremony was organized by the Theatrical Youth Group and was held in the Cultural Centre in Giza in the presence of Head of the Cultural Production Affairs Sector Khaled Galal, President of the General Authority for Culture Palaces Ahmad Awad, his deputy Hisham Atwa, and Head of the Theater Art House Ismail Mokhtar.

Abdel Dayem praised the shows held in the Cultural Centre and was proud to see the crowds encouraging the youth to discover their hidden talents. The minister commented that fans always motivate the participants to become more creative and artistic. The minister further stated that the initiative will move on to other governorates of Egypt, encouraging youth to pursue their dreams and express themselves.

The event will receive applications of participants throughout the current month of September from Asyut, Fayoum, Al-Sharqiyah, Aswan, Ismailia, Kafr El-Sheikh and will receive applications from the other governorates in October 2018.
The following names were honored by the minister for their efforts in coaching the graduates during the workshop:

• Ashraf Farouk & Ahmad Mokhtar (Acting)
• Tamer Fathy (Silent Acting)
• Hazem al-Kafrawy & Ahmad Hamdy Raof (Singing and Music)
• Amro al-Ashraf & Mahmoud Hanafi (Scenography)
• Alaa Abdel Aziz (Drama)
