CAIRO – 7 June 2018: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) will launch its Big Read program for the 10th consecutive year in cooperation with the Egyptian Association for Friends of BA, on Sunday, June 10.

This year’s program which concludes early September, is about two short stories: “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Masque of the Red Death” by American writer Edgar Allan Poe.

The summer program, which targets adults above 16 years, includes several cultural events varying between lectures, seminars, film screenings, play readings, literary and artistic competitions and online activities
