Doing Well, Don't Worry

CAIRO – 5 May 2017: The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) held an exhibition on Tuesday of “Doing Well, Don’t Worry” in cooperation with The American University in Cairo.

The “Doing Well, Don’t Worry” exhibition, which displayed women’s heritage, is part of a campaign that aims at establishing museums for and about women in the Middle East. The campaign sheds light on women’s impact on society throughout history- sensitizing communities towards the importance of the role of women in society.

The exhibition is a production of a series of meetings and workshops sponsored by The Women’s Museum in Denmark, The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute, Women and Memory Forum and The American University in Cairo. Along with The Knowledge Workshop in Lebanon and The Museum of Jordanian Heritage.

The journey of “Doing Well, Don’t Worry” started in Cairo, then heads to Beirut, Oman and other Arab capitals over a period of 6 months.
