CAIRO – 17 April 2017: Egyptian-Palestinian composer Selim Sahab, Cairo Opera House conductor and composer, plans to establish a choir for refugee children,

Youm7 reported Thursday.

Sahab announced during a press conference hosted by the Organization of Arab Women at Al Ahram newspaper’s headquarters that his orchestral group of street children has reached 150 members and he aims to expand it to reach 10,000 members.

The increasing membership in his orchestra inspired Sahab to establish a choir of refugee children, aiming to inspire them to embrace their talents, according to Youm7.

Sahab also exposed some details about his upcoming charitable musical performance during the press conference, hosted by the Refugee Support Organization.
