CAIRO – 11 December 2017: Egyptian classical music ensemble Ateleh El Moaalef El Moseky (Music Composer’s Atelier) will perform its first concert at the Egyptian Museum of Modern Art on December 13. “It is a platform for a composition master class with me to compose and produce new Egyptian music,” Nahla Mattar, founder of the project, told Egypt Today.

“Eight compositions will be performed, including two new ones – all of them written by Egyptian senior contemporary composers such as Youssef Greiss, Amr El Baz, Kamal Ahmed and Aziz Shawaan,” Mattar explained.
Beside Mattar, many senior and rising talents will perform through this exceptional artistic night, such as Amr Elbaz, Kamal Ahmed, Loay Ismail, Hala Fouad Mohamed Zanaty, Rania Omar and Mariam Al Mamlouk.

The event is organized and directed by Samer El Faramawy, activity coordinator at the Egyptian Museum of Modern Art.
