CAIRO – 7 December 2017: The National Arab Music Ensemble will perform its “Wahabiat” series at Damanhur Opera House on December 8.

Conducted by Mostafa Helmy, the ensemble will include a number of rising stars such as Mai Hassan, Karim Zidan and Aiat Farouk.

The “Wahabiat” series aims to revive classical Arab music and introduce the Egyptian musical heritage to the younger generation. Most importantly, the series honors the musical contribution of Abdel Wahab, also referred to as the "Maestro of Generations."

The program includes the most celebrated songs by Abdel Wahab, such as “Khayef A’aoul Ely Fy Alby” (I am afraid to say what I feel), “Malish Amal” (I Have no Hope), and “El-Hob Gameel” (Love is Beautiful).
