CAIRO – 27 November 2017: Christie’s will be exhibiting an ancient Egyptian wooden statue to be auctioned for £350,000 in London on December 6. The wooden statue depicting a female and dates back to the late old kingdom.

More than 100 ancient antiquities will also be auctioned at the event, including potteries, statues and coins. Most of the artifacts date back to ancient Greek and Roman periods.

Last month, Christie’s conquered different media platforms after exhibiting the recent discovered

Salvatore Mundi painting

by Leonardo Da Vinci. The painting was sold for more than $450 million to an

unknown buyer

, who participated in bidding over the phone.
