Youssra, Fahmy express their pride with CIFF

Youssra expressed her happiness at being chosen to be the honorary president of the festival. “I am proud that I am an Egyptian. I am proud that I am an artist,” recounted Youssra.

Youssra said that she is happy to be in the festival among the notable group of great artists. “I thank DMC channel and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for supporting our great festival,” Youssra added.

Youssra introduced Hussein Fahmy, the head of the international movies jury committee. “I am proud to be the head of the jury committee, as I was proud to be the former head of the Cairo International Film Festival for four years,” Fahmy said.

Fahmy then introduced the jury members, which include Egyptian director Khairy Beshara and famous Syrian actress Kinda Alloush.
