CAIRO – 13 November 2017: Egyptian film ‘Balash Tebosny’ (Kiss me Not) will premiere for the first time at the 14th Dubai International Film Festival as part of the ‘Arab Nights’ segment according to a released statement on Sunday.

Directed by Ahmed Amer and starring renowned young Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis, the film revolves around a backstage setting where a film director is facing challenges in dealing with the protagonist and the producer of a film. All three of them are dragged in arguments due to their different points of view.

Distributed by MAD Solutions & WIKA Production Middlewest films, Kiss Me Not will be officially released in cinema theaters in 2018 according to the film’s official Facebook page.

Winner of an outstanding performance in her leading role in late director Mohamed Khan’s Factory Girl that recorded a milestone in her cinematic career, aspiring young actress Raeis has previously won the Best Actress Award at Dubai Film Festival in 2013.

Mastering multiple roles and improvisation, Raeis has took upon screens in 2010 participating in films such as X-Large, Wahed Saheh (The Whole One), Taraf Talet (Third Side), and Al Maslaha (The Benefit).

The 14th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival will commence on December 6 through December 13 , and will showcase well over 120 original films from the Arab world and beyond, promoting new talent and creativity.
