CAIRO – 6 November 2017: A contemporary art exhibition, “Lemon Jam Never Killed Anyone,” will launch on November 15 until December 2 at Contemporary Image Collective.

Supported by the European Union, the exhibition will be displaying the works of eight participants that completed the Students’ Council Program after participating in various media platforms such as video, installation, sound, painting, text, and digital images.

The exhibited works portray the complexity of communication, personal state of minds, and the process in which visual artists attempt to translate human experiences.

Participating artists include Aya Abdelrahman, Aya Turk, Karam Ahmed Ali, Nay Noshy, Noha El-Gharabawy, Samar Samy, Sara Atwa, and Yasmine Abdelaziz.

Organized by ‘StudioKhana’, this is the second exhibition of the The Students’ Council Program that seeks to answer several questions about human nature such as self-identity and the role of individuals in the world, according to the event’s official Facebook page.

The Students’ Council Program is an educational format that seeks to support artistic students and encourage them to support the contemporary art scene.
