CAIRO – 18 October 2017: The French Institute in Egypt and The French Institute of the Oriental Archaeology are organizing a number of monthly lectures on Ancient Egyptian History. The upcoming lecture will be on October 29.


The lectures of this season will be given by the chiefs of the French archaeological missions in Egypt to review their latest archaeological discoveries.


October's lecture will be about "Ancient Egyptian Queens and their Pyramids: The Latest Discoveries of the French – Swiss Archaeological Mission."


Philippe Collombert, professor of Egyptology at Geneva University, will head the lecture.
