CAIRO – 12 October 2017: International Saudi archaeological missions discovered many archaeological inscriptions, tools, and architectural blocks dating back to different ages from the Stone Age to the Islamic era.

The excavation covers three archeological sites in Tabuk city.

The archeologists explained that the Saudi archeological sites need more study and excavation because Saudi Arabia was a main trade road and it witnessed the rise of many ancient kingdoms and civilizations.

In Kilwa city, the Saudi French archeological mission uncovered archeological tools, and a number of stony drawings for humans, and animals, according to Saudi news agencies.

Kilwa site is one of the most important archeological sites in Saudi Arabia as it carries a lot of evidence that this area witnessed the living of early man and his life development.
The site may witness the early settlement of man in the Stone Age and how his life form improved till the Islamic era.
