CAIRO – 26 September 2017: Director Frederique Counoyer Lessard’s documentary "Rue De La Victoire" follows one man’s journey to face all odds, rising above poverty to achieve his dream of fame.

Mohamed Dhiaa Gharbi, hailing from Tunisia, has spent his life training to be a circus performer, practicing acrobats with car tires and all other manner of junk, a testament to his dedication. His hard work eventually pays off as Mohamed finds eventually find himself in France’s Cirque Farouche.

The film follows Gharbi's life as he trains hard and works to fulfill his dreams, making a name for himself amongst the colorful characters of the circus. It is a story of identity, of the paths chosen in life and the work it takes to get there.

Rue De La Victoire premiered in Canada on July 14.
