In 2012, Egyptian Project released its first album “Ya Amar” and it gained international success.

The band consists of Sayed Emam on vocals and percussions, and Kawala Ragab Sadek on dof, sagates, rek, darbokka, and dhola, Salama Metwally on violin, and rababa, Jérôme Ettinger on arghul, computer, vocals, and dof, and Anthony Bondu on drums.

In June, Egyptian Project organized a tour in Cairo that was hosted by many cultural places such as The Club House, and Tivoli Dome.
