Bones and skulls found in landfills at Qousseya Village, Asyut governorate – Haitham El Badry

CAIRO – 9 September 2017: Residents of Qousseya Village in Asyut governorate found on Saturday bones and skulls in landfills 15 days after finding 14 bags containing the remains of 27 bodies. These were analyzed by forensic pathologists, who concluded that the death time dates back to over 35 years ago.

As part of the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecution, a committee has been formed to determine the death dates of newly found remains and if they were murdered.

What makes such findings mysterious is that soil traces were found on the bones and skulls, while Qousseya’s geography is entirely a desert.
