‘Annabelle: Creation’, ‘The Emoji Movie’ in Egypt

CAIRO – 11 August 2017: The horror film (Annabelle: Creation) and the animation one (The Emoji Movie) started screening in Egyptian Theatres on Thursday, Coming in Max4D.

Annabelle: Creation is a prequel for 2014’s Annabelle and the fourth film in (The Conjuring) series, which consists of The Conjuring (2013), The Conjuring 2 ( 2016), Annabelle (2014) and Annabelle: Creation ( 2017), all produced and distributed by the New Line Cinema division of Warner Bros. Pictures.

The film’s story revolves around a dollmaker and his wife, who host a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, after several years of the tragic death of their little girl, but the dollmaker's possessed creation, Annabelle, sets her sights on the girls, turning their shelter into a disaster and a storm of terror.

Annabelle: Creation scored 7.3 on IMDB. The film stars Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Anthony LaPaglia and Miranda Otto.

Concerning The Emoji Movie, it tracks the journey of a Gene, a multi-expressional emoji, who is trying to become a normal emoji. The movie grossed $53,921,917 USD in the domestic box office on Tuesday.

It stars the voices of T. J. Miller, James Corden, Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph, Steven Wright, Rob Riggle, Jennifer Coolidge, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Sean Hayes and Patrick Stewart.
