CAIRO - 8 August 2017: Two large murals of U.S. President Donald Trump have appeared on Israel's West Bank separation barrier last week on the edge of Palestinian city Bethlehem.

One image depicts Trump wearing a Jewish cap as he lovingly strokes a wall, while the other portrays him hugging and kissing an Israeli watchtower.

Due to the images’ close proximity to a hotel that street artist Banksy had stayed in, many had speculated the artwork was his doing. However, a close examination reveals that they are signed by 'Lushux', an Australian artist who has taken credit for the artwork on his Twitter account.

In an email to the Los Angeles Times, Lushsux stated that his motivation behind the murals was to make a message about the border wall in Palestine, and that Trump was the perfect candidate due to his controversial Mexican border wall plan.
