3rd book exhibition in Shibin El Kom to end

CAIRO – 7 August 2017: The Minister of culture Helmy Al- Namanm will attend the end of the 3rd book exhibition in Shibin El Kom stade on Tuesday, August 8 at 12 pm. The Head of the General Book Authority Dr. Haitham Al Haj Ali inaugurated the 3rd book exhibition on Thursday, July 27 in Shibin El Kom stade lasting to August 8.

Ali has confirmed that exhibition achieves authority’s plan to spread Book exhibitions in all governorates across Egypt. The exhibition includes the latest publishing of The Authority, family library books and children's books. It organizes several artistic, cultural and children activities and symposia against terrorism.

Menoufia bands for music and folk arts have participated in the inauguration. The exhibition has celebrated the anniversary of New Suez Canal on Sunday in the artistic and cultural camp, Shibin El Kom.

The General Book Authority aims to close the gap between Egypt and developed countries through efforts exerted by the Ministry of Culture for achieving prosperity by printing heritage books, writing and translating regional and international cultural books along side with printing and publishing Egyptian books at the regional, Arabic and International level.
