On the 8th of February, WATCH IT’s “Balto” series debuted with two episodes weekly.

Since it’s early episodes the series managed to draw wide attention with its unique plot, and outstanding rising talents, especially Essam Omar.

Egypt Today will provide its readers with the six reasons for the smash success of Balto series :

1- The high sense of humor and charisma of Doctor Atef ( Essam Omar). Essam Omar provided in his first leading role a smooth, funny and natural performance without any kind of complexities. Even his facial expressions made us all laugh from the bottom of our hearts.

2-The credibility of the events of the series, as many viewers have experienced situations similar to what came in the series or met people similar to “Balto” characters.

3-The third reason is what we can describe as the charm of the first experience. Balto witnessed the first leading role to Essam Omar ( Doctor Atef), the first big role to Mariam Mahmoud El Gendy ( Dr. Hagar) and Soulafa Ghanem ( Helmia), the first script for Dr Ahmed Atef, as well as the first directing experience to the talented director Omar El Mohandes.

4-The events of the series revolve in a simple yet satirical comic framework, relying mainly on the funny situations the characters went through and not based on jokes.  “ Balto” series managed in a brilliant way to create comic situations from the problems the characters have faced in “Tarshoukh El Leef” village.

5-The fast pace of the series’ incidents as the events were intense, attractive and interesting.

6-The brilliant performance of the veterans Arfa Abd El Rasoul ( Nurse Kawthar), Mohamed Mahmoud ( Abdel Badie), Mahmoud El Bezzawy ( Sheikh Marzouk) and Mahmoud Hafez ( Doctor Samir).
