The Grand Egyptian Museum hosted its first group of students at the Children’s Museum.

It was heartwarming to see the Museum come to life with these children who were fascinated by everything they saw and learned about their ancestors and the extraordinary ancient Egyptian civilization.

The Grand Egyptian Museum announced that it will start hosting some special events and activities and receive limited visits in some sections and areas inside the museum, as part of launching the trial operation period.

The date of the official launching will be announced later.

The entire world is highly anticipating the official launch of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is expected to be inaugurated later this year.

The Grand Egyptian Museum will house more than 50,000 artifacts including all the personal belongings of the Golden King Tutankhamun, all gathered for the first time in one place.

In addition, visitors will enjoy numerous displays for the first time in Egypt and the world, including the Great Staircase, the Hanging Obelisk, Khufu’s second Solar Ship, among others.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is located only 2 kilometers away from the Giza pyramid complex and is the largest archaeological museum worldwide. The museum lies over an area of around 500,000 square meters.

Instilling pride and curiosity from a young age is extremely important, these students were given a great opportunity to explore their history in a fun and dynamic way.
