CAIRO – 10 November 2022: On November 12 at 11 a.m., the Children's Museum for Civilization and Creativity will launch an exhibition entitled "Our Broken Planet - Ways to Fix It".

The exhibition showcases paintings expressing climate change and its impact on the globe, as well as scientific presentations on the displays attached to the exhibition.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Heliopolis Association Nabil Helmy, to which the museum is affiliated, said that the idea of the exhibition was inspired by 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change [COP27], which is currently being held in Sharm El-Sheikh with the aim of renewing solidarity between countries and implementing the historic Paris Agreement.

Helmy stressed that the exhibition is the result of the joint cooperation between the Natural History Museum in London and the Children's Museum in Cairo, noting that the first edition of "Our Broken Planet" exhibition was held in 2021, as a program designed and implemented by the Natural History Museum in London.

The exhibition explores solutions to the challenges facing our planet through exhibits selected by professional scientists.
