BA to hold ‘Basics of Voice Commentary & Art of Recitation’ workshop on Sept. 27

CAIRO – 22 September 2022: On September 27 at 11 a.m., the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a workshop for youth under the title "Basics of Voice Commentary & Art of Recitation", at Al-Sennari Archaeological House.

The workshop will give a detailed introduction to the art of voice-over and its importance by explaining the basics of voiceover and its types; providing training on vocal layers, text analysis, spatial sense, acting and performance; and presenting ways to create a voice-over channel on YouTube.

The workshop aims to provide youth with the skills needed to tap in the world of voice-over commentary, which is one of the most important fields in an era dominated by the spread of video industry and the significant development of audio media.

The workshop consists of eight lectures and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. It targets youth from the age of 16 years and above.
