CAIRO – 17 August 2022: Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass gave two lectures on archaeological discoveries in Egypt at the Bowers Museum in the city of Santa Ana, USA.

The first lecture was held for 550 attendees, and due to the high turnout another lecture was arranged for about 700 attendees, while many others watched the lecture on a large screen.

During the lecture, Hawass stressed that Egypt is safe, and invited the attendees to visit Egypt to attend the huge event set for November 4 in Luxor, to celebrate the centenary of the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb.

Hawass also spoke about President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian government giving priority to preserving heritage and antiquities, and to the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the City of Arts in the Administrative Capital and the Museum of Capitals.
