CAIRO – 11 August 2022: “The Transfiguration” won the Best Documentary Award at the official competition of the Aguila Festival in the Philippines for the month of July.
This came during the participation of a number of documentaries and short documentaries produced by the General Administration of Cinematic Culture and Cinema Palace under the auspices of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem.
It is noteworthy that the Aguila Festival is held online monthly and awards the winners with certificates of appreciation. An annual ceremony is held at the end of the year to honor the makers of the winning and distinguished cinematic works.
