Egypt’s culture min. reduces ticket price for The People’s Cinema to LE 20

CAIRO – 4 July 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem decided to reduce the ticket price for The People’s Cinema movies screened at 10 am and 1 pm to LE 20.

 

 

 

 

Abdel Dayem said that reducing the ticket prices came to allow the largest number of citizens to benefit from the project, especially youth. She explained that the ministry’s strategy to achieve cultural justice aims to allow citizens to obtain the cultural product of the state at good prices. Abdel Dayem praised the turnout for the screenings, which reflects the desire of Egyptians for serious creative materials.

 

 

 

 

It is noteworthy that Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem launched the second phase of The People's Cinema, which presents contemporary cinematic works at minimal prices for all segments of society in all cinemas of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.
