CAIRO – 20 June 2022: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through Al-Sennari Archaeological House and the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, is organizing a free workshop for children and youth with special needs under the title “Games in Ancient Egypt”, on June 21 at 11 am.

 

 

 

 

The workshop focuses on explaining the history of games in the ancient Egyptian civilization. The ancient Egyptians were among the first to invent skill and mental games.

 

 

 

 

The workshop aims to introduce the lifestyle of the ancient Egyptians and their means of entertainment for children, by presenting the history of games in ancient Egypt and how they evolved from simple games to strategic games to games that require interaction, imagination and skill.
