CAIRO – 14 June 2022: Egyptian museums contain millions of rare artifacts from  various ancient Egyptian eras. Each piece narrates a story that is thousands of years old.

 

 

 

 

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization houses the gold and lapis lazuli bracelets of King Ramses II. The bracelets date back to the 18th Dynasty, the period of the reign of King Ramses II (1279-1213 BC). It is made of gold and lapis lazuli, and was found in Tell Basta - east of the Delta.

 

 

 

 

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is one of the most important national projects adopted by the state. It is one of the largest international museums, as well as the only museum of its kind in Egypt, the Arab world, the Middle East and Africa. The museum presents the richness and diversity of the Egyptian civilization, starting from prehistoric times to the present time.
