CAIRO – 9 June 2022: In continuation of the official visits to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the museum received three official delegations from the Maldives, Indonesia and the World Bank, on the sidelines of their current visit to Egypt.

 

 

 

 

Vice President of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization Authority for Administration and Operation Firouz Fikri received the ministers of finance and economy from the Maldives, the president of the Central Bank of Indonesia, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Bank and members of its board of directors, and a delegation of the bank's executive directors.

Fikri accompanied the delegations on a tour in the museum that included the Central Exhibition Halls, Egyptian Textiles Hall, and the Royal Mummies Hall, and gave them a detailed explanation of the museum's history of establishment, and its unique archaeological holdings that narrate the history of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages.

 

 

 

 

During the tour, members of the delegation expressed their happiness with this visit, and the distinguished archaeological artifacts.

 

 

 

 

In the same context, the Sharm El-Sheikh Museum received the Indonesian minister of finance and her accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of their visit to Sharm El-Sheikh to attend the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group. They toured the various halls of the museum, and expressed their fascination with its distinguished archaeological treasures.
