CAIRO – 18 May 2022: RR American Auction House, located in Boston, is auctioning a card signed by members of The Beatles, a month after the release of their album “Please Please Me” in 1962.

 

 

 

 

In the card, which will be auctioned on May 19, 2022, The Beatles are shown standing together behind their musical instruments, with their elegant signatures clearly visible in blue ink on the back.

According to the auction house, the foreground image on the card was taken by photographer Dezo Hoffmann at Abbey Road Studios on September 4, 1962, when The Beatles were recording their first single, "Love Me Do."

As for the signatures behind the card, they were obtained at the Carfax Assembly Rooms in Oxford, England, on February 16, 1963 and are in a very good condition.
