CAIRO – 17 May 2022: CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat Ahmed Ghoneim received a high-level delegation from the European Investment Bank.

 

 

 

 

This visit came within the framework of the museum's keenness to receive public and important figures, as part of the series of visits it has witnessed since its opening in April 2021, to support all means of fruitful cooperation with all concerned parties.

 

 

 

 

Member of the museum's public relations Lamis Abdel Rahman took the delegation on a tour inside its halls, where they visited the Central Exhibition Hall, the Egyptian Textile Hall, and the Royal Mummies Hall.

 

 

 

 

Abdel Rahman provided them with a detailed presentation of the history of the museum, the story of its establishment, the scenario of the museum’s display, and the unique archaeological holdings it houses that narrates the history of the Egyptian civilization throughout the ages.

Also, Abdel Rahman provided them with an overview of the most important educational, cultural and societal activities provided by the museum within its role as a cultural beacon.

 

 

 

 

During the tour, the members of the delegation expressed their happiness with the visit, and their fascination with unique archaeological holdings, which are presented with the latest scientific methods to illustrate the development of the Egyptian civilization throughout history.
