Marimba star Nesma Abdel Aziz to perform in Egypt’s Opera on April 14

CAIRO – 13 April 2022: Marimba player Nesma Abdel Aziz and her band will perform at the Egyptian Opera’s Open Theater on April 14 at 9:30 p.m., as part of the Ramadan opera activities.

The concert’s program includes a selection of the most famous Arabic and Western compositions, which Nesma reformulated to suit the marimba instrument.

It is worth noting that Nesma Abdel Aziz began her musical studies at the Cairo Conservatory at an early age and specialized in playing percussion instruments.

Abdel Aziz presented many successful concerts on various opera theaters, and was dubbed by her fans as the “Princess of Percussion”, due to her distinguished skill in playing all percussion instruments.
