El Ekhteyar ( The Choice) part 3 revealed  the personal side of Former Minister of Defense-current President of Egypt- Abdel Fattah El Sisi as a caring husband who helps his wife with the housework and a lovely father who listens to his daughter and gently advices her.

Aya El Sisi ( Mayan el Sayed) said to her father that her university colleagues say he is a member of Muslim Brotherhood.

So he said to her “ Islam is not confined to Muslim Brotherhood so being a devout Muslim doesn’t mean I am a member of MB.”

On the other hand we see how ousted President Mohamed Morsi invited El Sisi to join Muslim Brotherhood but he replied saying “I am not a member of Muslim Brotherhood and will not be, I am not a Salafi as well, I am just a Muslim.”

Sisi added that any President or political leader shouldn’t have specific political orientation nor be a member of a certain political faction, he has to be only Egyptian person who is loyal to his country.

“El Ekhteyar” series revealed for the first time the involvement of MB leader Safwat Hegazy in an illegal operation to smuggle large collection of weapons.

Despite his deep sadness after the passing of his wife, Military Intelligence Officer Mostafa Khalifa ( Ahmed El Sakka) decided to return to his work to complete his mission.

“El Ekhteyar” revealed how General Intelligence officers were following the huge container full of dozens of weapons to put their hands on before entering Egypt.

El Ekhteyar revealed behind the scenes of arresting terrorist Karim el Bedwey and Madinet Nasr cell which housed experienced jihadists, many with connections to Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri's Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ), which formally merged with al-Qaeda in 2001.

“El Ekhteyar” presented a leaked video to ousted president Mohamed Morsi and MB leader Khairat el Shater mentioning that Mohamed ElBaradei contacted them twice to serve as prime minister of Egypt.
