CAIRO – 29 March 2022: On March 29, many cultural and artistic events will be held in various locations.

 

 

 

 

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, organizes a conference entitled “The Eleventh Sustainable Cities - Cities in Transition” on March 29 and March 30 March in the Lecture Hall of the BA Conference Hall. Registration starts at 9.30 am. The conference aims to exchange constructive ideas and try to find solutions to urban and environmental challenges, leading to sustainable development in the cities of the Middle East and North Africa.

 

 

 

 

Moreover, the National Cinema Center, in cooperation with the National Child Culture Center, will celebrate Orphan’s Day at 11 am. The celebration will begin with El-Tanoura folklore dance, followed by the magician performance and the puppet performance. Gifts will also be distributed to the children participating in the celebration. The celebration will conclude with a workshop for drawing and plastic art for children, with the participation of a group of artists from the National Center for Cinema and the National Child Culture Center.

 

 

 

 

In addition, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a free symposium open to the public, under the title "30 Online Job Opportunities", in the Al-Sennari Archaeological House at 4pm. The seminar revolves around the difference between e-marketing and network marketing. It explains the importance of acquiring skills and experience through the internet, and how to get a good profit from the internet. It also presents the most important sources of self-education in Arabic and foreign languages.

 

 

 

 

The Center for Strategic Studies at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a seminar entitled “The Repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian Crisis on the Middle East”, at 3 p.m., at the Cultural and Natural Heritage Documentation Center in the Smart Village. The symposium revolves around the possible repercussions of the crisis on the shape of the international system, the future of international relations and its impact on the Middle East, as well as the challenges and economic repercussions that this crisis may leave locally, regionally, and internationally.
