Giza Pyramids hosts participants in Miss Eco International contest
CAIRO - 19 March 2022: The Giza Pyramids area hosted the participants in the Miss Eco International contest, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities from March 6-18.
The activities of this competition were held in the cities of Luxor, Hurghada and Cairo, and organized by a private company in cooperation with the United Nations Program, with the participation of 65 countries from around the world.
They were received by Ashraf Mohieldin, Director General of the Pyramid Antiquities District, who accompanied them on a tour inside the area, during which they visited the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Panorama area, and they were keen to record their visit by taking many memorial photos.
Maha Galal Eid, Director General of Tourism Awareness at the authority, explained that the authority also participated in providing facilities for receiving contestants and guests participating in the competition at Cairo and Luxor airports, and distributed materials about the Egyptian tourist destination and its various and varied products.
