CAIRO – 14 March 2022: The Luxor Temple and Al-Kebbash Road hosted the participants of the Miss World Competition For Tourism and the Environment, which is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion.

 

 

 

 

Organized by a private company in cooperation with the United Nations Program, the competition will run in Luxor from March 6-18.

Some 65 countries will participate in this competition, and the contestants have arrived on March 6. They then toured Hurghada and visited many tourist spots and resorts.

During the next few days, the contestants are scheduled to visit some of the tourist and archaeological sites in Cairo.

 

 

 

 

Director General of Tourism Awareness at the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion Maha Galal Eid explained that the authority also participated in providing facilities for receiving the contestants and guests participating in the competition at Cairo and Luxor airports.

 

 

 

 

Promotional materials about the Egyptian tourist destinations and its various products were also distributed to them.

 

 

 

 

The ministry's sponsorship of such events comes within the framework of implementing the media strategy to promote the Egyptian tourist destinations.
