CAIRO – 1 February 2022: Executive Director of the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair Shawkat Al-Masry, confirmed the postponement of the memorial symposium held to honor the symbols of Egyptian culture, Jaber Asfour, Shaker Abdel Hamid and Fawzy Fahmy, due to a sudden health crisis that struck five of the main speakers at the symposium.

It is worth noting that the memorial ceremony was scheduled to be held on February 1, at the Cairo International Book Fair in the Main Hall, in the presence of a group of intellectuals, thinkers and writers.

The ceremony is postponed until further notice.
