Nadia el-Sharkawy ‘s art exhibition ‘Egyptian Colors’ kicks off on Jan. 10

CAIRO – 10 January 2022: On January 10 at 6 p.m., Head of Egypt’s Opera House Magdy Saber will inaugurate an art exhibition titled “Egyptian Colors” for artist Nadia el-Sharkawy, in Ziad Bakir Hall.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition runs until January 17 and includes 40 oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings.

Nadia Gamil el-Sharkawy was born in 1955. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and received master's and doctorate degrees in anesthesia and central care. She also obtained a BA in Law and Sharia, and has been a full-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine since 2015. She also studied at Galileo Academy in 2019.

 

 

 

 

El-Sharkawy took interest in plastic art in addition to her work in medicine. She participated in many successful solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad, including Colors of Spring, Art and Life, and Thank You My Doctor.
